A vote of thanks as Remco Lenterman resigns as Chairman

6 August 2015

We're sad to say that Remco Lenterman is stepping down from his role as Chairman of FIA EPTA following his departure from IMC. Remco has served as Chairman since our inception in 2011, leading not only in the founding of the association but also in the integration of principal traders’ voices in the market structure debate. Remco has worked tirelessly over the last four years, sharing his knowledge of trading technology and the financial markets. His involvement in the ongoing, open dialogue about markets and prudent regulation has been essential, and we’re counting on that to continue in an advisory capacity going forward, while long-time industry advocate and FIA EPTA’s current Vice-Chairman Mark Spanbroek takes the helm as acting Chairman. Thanks, Remco, for everything you’ve brought to the FIA EPTA; we hope you enjoy returning to London. We’re glad you’re not moving far!
