January 2026 stats on customer funds held at US FCMs
The total amount of customer funds in futures accounts at US FCMs reached a record $417.4 billion in January, up 4.9% from the previous month and up 20.4% over the last 12 months. The number of FCMs holding customer funds in futures accounts was recorded at 51 in December, up from 49 a year ago and the same as five years ago.
