Nasdaq Nordic is upgrading its Genium INET platform, according to a recent release. The new portal is designed to make it easier for members to become compliant with MiFID II, the new European regulatory standard scheduled to take effect in 2018.
The latest release of Genium INET, scheduled for Nov. 21, will include a number of features that will add several more guardrails for traders in Nasdaq Nordic’s equity derivatives market, including a circuit breaker mechanism for equity derivatives, a warning indicating a stressed market condition, and more advanced pre-trade controls, according to a Nasdaq release.
