Join the marketing and creative team at FIA! This role will provide you with a strong foundation in all aspects of marketing – from developing campaigns to creating designs plus all the applications and platforms needed to create the FIA brand experience. This role supports day-to-day marketing tasks including executing email campaigns, contributing to sponsorship and advertising fulfillment, contributing to content and supporting materials development through ideation, design and proofing.
Responsibilities
Contributes to email marketing and engagement campaigns for FIA events, products and services
Supports the creation of marketing materials by sharing ideas, drafting content, assisting with graphic design, and proofing materials
Contributes to advertising and sponsorship fulfilment activities, such as scheduling digital advertisements and providing brand recognition on key webpages and marketing emails
Contributes to event materials production
Supports the management of FIA’s brand by ensuring use of correct logos, colors and templates for member communications, presentations etc
Updates content on website
Supports releases related to key advocacy initiatives and developments within the industry
Helps maintain marketing files and photo/video archives
Supports weekly member communications for FIA and its affiliates
Supports in-person event experiences as required
Supports other departments as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution with a concentration in marketing, communications, English, journalism, advertising or related are of concentration.
1-2 years of professional experience, ideally including marketing and/or communications experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task; must be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines accurately and simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service skills and able to maintain a friendly and positive attitude, particularly when interacting with event attendees and organization’s members, to best represent FIA.
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud preferred (InDesign, Photoshop)
Experience with creating and managing content in CMS (Drupal preferred) and/or basic knowledge of HTML is a plus
Experience using a project management platform such as Asana is a plus
Experience using an email platform, such as MailChimp, Informz or Adestra is a plus
Experience using a CRM / AMS is a plus
Experience working for an association or professional society is a plus
