CFTC Chairman Christopher Giancarlo was sworn in as a CFTC Commissioner in 2014 and confirmed as Chairman in August 2017. Before entering public serivce, Chairman Giancarlo served as the Executive Vice President of GFI Group Inc. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President and U.S. Legal Counsel of Fenics Software and was a corporate partner in the New York law firm of Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner. Chairman Giancarlo’s keynote address will provide an overview of the regulatory agenda for listed and cleared derivatives markets in the U.S. and global regulatory landscape.
