part of the FIA Law & Compliance Division webinar series

11 February 2016

By

In this webinar, John Williams, a partner at Milbank, Tweed in New York and Michael Voisin, a partner at Linklaters in London, will demonstrate the FIA CCP Risk Review™, and then go on to discuss what it reveals about CCP transparency and the practical realities of the implementation of CPMI-IOSCO’s Principles for Financial Market Infrastructure (PFMIs). FIA CCP Risk Review – a comparative assessment of the rules and procedures of CCPs around the world -- allows market participants to efficiently analyze the rules and procedures of CCPs, presenting standardized analysis in practical, comparative terms and incorporating key implications of applicable law where relevant. The webinar will address what this body of work indicates about the extent of CCP compliance with the PFMIs, as well as raise issues for market participants to consider as regulators undertake further development of the PFMIs.
