The death of George Floyd and others has laid bare the injustice and racism in our society and the desperate need for steps to address it. We mourn with the families for their loss. The feelings of outrage, sadness and weariness are justified. We need to come together to demand meaningful change. We must end these obvious and less apparent, yet harmful, injustices happening every day.
FIA’s diversity initiative recognizes that our industry clearly needs increased diversity and opportunity throughout its ranks. FIA commits to open dialogue and engagement on these difficult topics within our industry.
FIA’s strength is derived from our community and celebrating the differences within it. We stand with our members that have overwhelmingly expressed their support for change and support their call to action. We can and must do better.
