Privacy Policies
FIA enforces robust policies to safeguard the personal information that is entrusted to us by FIA event registrants and the broader FIA community. We encourage you to review our Privacy Statement. There are a few aspects of our privacy policies that we would like to highlight in connection with the event.
FIA maintains delegate lists for each of our events. The delegate lists contain the name, title, firm and/or office location of the event registrants. FIA may share the delegate list with current or prospective attendees, sponsors, and/or exhibitors, including through our mobile event app, as applicable. Typically we find that attendees want to be included on the delegate list to realize the full networking benefits of our events. If you registered on our website for the event, you were prompted to indicate whether you wanted to be included on the delegate list. If another person registered you for the event – for example, through FIA’s group registration process – FIA prompted that person to indicate whether to include you on the delegate list. We only include individuals on the delegate list where an affirmative indication has been made. You may contact us to check whether you are included on the delegate list and/or change your preference.
FIA never sells its delegate lists to third parties and will never contact you offering to sell such information. We regret that you may become the target of unsolicited offers from third parties purporting to have an FIA delegate list for sale. Sometimes the third parties claim to be affiliated or suggest an affiliation with FIA. These offers and third parties are not sanctioned by FIA. We appreciate your assistance in bringing them to our attention.
Filming, Videotaping and Recording Policy
FIA and/or its designated agents may take photos and audio and video recordings of the event, including those in attendance. We may use the recorded media and/or photos to publicize the event. We may also post the recorded media and/or photos on our website, social media, or other public forums. We consider your attendance at the event as evidencing your consent to our use of such recorded media and photos. No portion of this event may be filmed, videotaped, photographed, or otherwise recorded for posting or distribution without prior authorization from FIA.

Is there a discount/promo code available to visit the Exhibit Hall (Trade Show) only?
Unfortunately, this option is not applicable. Promo codes are not distributed on behalf of FIA. Please click here to view current registration rates.
Will this event be accessible virtually?
At this time, Expo 2023 is scheduled to take place in person only. Please continue to monitor the events landing page for updates.
Do I need an FIA membership to attend an event?
No. FIA does not require membership to attend this event. However, registrants are required to create a profile to complete their registration.
How can I register a group?
Two or more registrants are required, the registrar is NOT required to be one of the two registrants, and the registrar’s profile MUST have group registration permissions. If “register group or company” is not available to you during the registration process, contact Member Services to request permissions. Please note permissions could take up to 48 hours to be updated.
Once you have group registration permissions, click the “register now” button on the event page. On the next page, you will be required to log in to the FIA website. If you are an existing user, enter your email address and password. Next, click on “register group or company on the next page”. On the group registration page, enter the first name of the employee to be registered in the ‘find employee’ box. If they are in our database, they will appear in the search box. Otherwise, you will need to create a record for them. Once this page is populated, click on ‘add attendee’ at the bottom of the page. Repeat the process for each attendee.
Contact memberservices@fia.org for additional assistance.
How do I make a registration payment?
Invoices can be paid via check or wire, as detailed in the confirmation. If you wish to pay by credit card, you can do so by logging into your FIA account.
How do I book my hotel accommodations?
FIA has secured a block of rooms at the Expo venue – the Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk. Room rates start at $299.00 plus applicable taxes and fees. Room rates are subject to state and local taxes, currently 17.4%. Tax rates are subject to change. There is a 72-hour cancellation policy in place for all reservations. Failure to cancel a reservation 72 hours prior to arrival will result in a one-night non-refundable guest room charge plus applicable taxes posted to the attendee's credit card on file.
The cut-off date for the group rate is September 28, 2023. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that once the block is sold out, the hotel's market price applies regardless of the date of booking.
FIA recommends that you book your stay starting on Sunday, 1 October since Expo starts on Monday, 2 October at 8:30 a.m. Book your room now!
