Bob Fink has made an enormous contribution to the futures industry in his service as a public director on the FIA’s board. He is a retired Senior Managing Director of Tiger Management. He maintains advisory and board roles with a number of hedge funds, a leading investment bank and the pension advisory committee of a major global corporation. For a decade he served as a thoughtful counselor to the FIA board and helped bring the end-user perspective to key issues related to regulation and industry best practices. His experience and viewpoint encapsulated everything that makes a great public director. Before joining Tiger, Bob spent his career in the futures industry in various roles -- research analyst, portfolio manager and founder of a proprietary trading firm operating on the New York futures exchanges. He was a member of numerous exchange and clearing corporation committees and boards and served for two years as Chairman of Commodity Exchange, Inc. For many years, he was an editorial contributor to the Commodity Research Bureau and a faculty member of the New York Institute of Finance where he taught a popular course in futures markets. He is co-author of Futures Trading: Concepts and Strategies, published by Prentice-Hall.
