Role in derivatives markets: Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is a self-regulatory organisation headquartered in Jakarta and overseen by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). IDX facilitates trading in equities, futures, structured products, fixed income and other securities, while continuously expanding its derivatives market to provide investors with opportunities for hedging, risk management and market exposure. IDX holds a joint FIA membership with Indonesia Clearing and Guarantee Corporation (IDClear). IDClear was established in 1996 as Indonesia’s Clearing and Guarantee Institution for securities transactions in the capital market. Since September 2024, IDClear has expanded its role as a CCP for the money market and foreign exchange market, providing clearing, guarantee, risk management and collateral management services.
