Washington, D.C. – Submit your nominations for the FIA Hall of Fame today.
The FIA Hall of Fame celebrates individuals who have made key contributions to the global listed and cleared derivatives industry during their careers.
FIA will accept nominations for the 2027 class of inductees through 4 September 2026.
FIA established the Hall of Fame in 2005 to commemorate its 50th anniversary, and to celebrate the men and women who have contributed their time, talent and passion to building our industry and impacting its members.
Each year, a distinguished panel comprised of existing FIA Hall of Fame members and global industry executives choose the inductees – from both the private and public sectors.
Members of the Hall of Fame are selected based on their significant lifetime contributions to our industry. While inductees do not have to be retired, they must demonstrate a lifetime of achievement that often comes with those at the pinnacle or end of their careers.
The advisory selection committee will focus on:
An individual’s demonstrated leadership and influence, including executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers and thought leaders,
An individual’s innovative ideas and achievements that have had a lasting impact on the industry,
An individual’s precedent-setting accomplishments that have broken barriers for others, and
An individual’s notable industry volunteerism and dedication that have benefited our markets.
Each year, the advisory committee chooses individuals who meet these high standards from the global listed and cleared derivatives markets.
The 2027 FIA Hall of Fame inductees will be announced on 3 November during the FIA Expo Conference in Chicago. The 2027 class will be inducted to the FIA Hall of Fame during the FIA Boca Conference on 8-10 March.
