The United States appears ready to work through a regulatory framework for cryptocurrency. Members of the US House of Representatives and US Senate have published various legislative bills such as the bipartisan Responsible Financial Innovation Act co-authored by Wyoming Senator Cynthia Lummis (R) and New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D). In this FIA Law & Compliance Division webinar, the Willkie Digital Works team will highlight the key legislative initiatives in Congress along with the potential regulatory implications that may arise. They will also anticipate the timing for when Congress may address these issues critical to the development of a US regulatory framework for cryptocurrency.
