FIA and ISDA comment on the design of CCP default management auctions
12 August 2019
FIA joined with the International Swaps and Derivatives Association in responding to a discussion paper on the design of default management auctions conducted by central counterparties in case of a member default. The discussion paper was issued in June by two international standard-setting bodies, the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures and the International Organization of Securities Commissions. The two associations expressed support for many of the proposals in the discussion paper and provided specific responses to individual questions posed in the paper.
