Fintech + Derivatives: Meet the Innovators

co-hosted by FIA and Rise New York
19 September 2018 5:00pm to 8:00pm EDT
Rise NY // 43 W 23rd St // New York, NY 10010

Artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and other new technologies are transforming the financial services industry, creating opportunities for new businesses as well as threats to established business models. But how will these new technologies affect the derivatives markets and the banks, brokers, trading firms, exchanges and service providers that keep these markets humming? To address this question, FIA and Rise New York, created by Barclays, are hosting a demo day in New York on Sept. 19 to introduce selected fintech startups to professionals in the derivatives industry. Each company will give a short pitch on the products and services they are developing, then participate in a panel discussion on trends in fintech adoption. Attendees also will have the opportunity to engage in conversation with the startups at a networking reception afterwards.
