FIA Operations Americas Division - Scholarship Announcement 2017

FIA Operations Americas Division is pleased to announce the winners of our 2017 Scholarship Program.  

FIA Operations Americas Division has granted a total of $25,000 in scholarship awards - $2,500 to each of our 10 recipients.  Since inception, the Operations Americas Division has awarded scholarships to 137 academic scholars totaling $308,500.   

FIA is proud to showcase and support the children of our members as they pursue their academic careers, and is grateful for the continued participation and support of our membership.  Please join us in congratulating the 2017 Scholarship winners and their parents.

Peter Bongiorni, the son of Bill Bongiorni of HSBC. Peter is entering his 2nd year at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan studying Environmental Engineering.   

Nathan Cardona, the son of Ramon Cardona of Mizuho. Nathan will be attending Miami University - Oxford in Oxford, Ohio studying Environmental Science.

Elena Carrigan, the daughter of Daniel Carrigan of NASDAQ. Elena is entering her 4th year at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania studying Nursing.  

Kaylie Eiden, the daughter of Paul Eiden of FIS Global. Kaylie will be attending Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa studying an Undecided Major. 

John Fruit, the son of Steve Fruit of ION Group. John will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Madison in Madison, Wisconsin studying Business.

Taylor Laughlin, the daughter of Debra Bloom of OCC. Taylor is entering her 3rd year at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale in Carbondale, Illinois studying Psychology/Neuroscience.    

William Marischen, the son of Robert Marischen of Cofco Agri. William will be attending Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana studying Landscape Architecture.   

Kellie McCabe, the daughter of Thomas McCabe of OneChicago. Kellie will be attending the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana studying Finance.

Lesley Mun, the daughter of Jin Mun of Fidessa. Lesley will be attending Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia studying Nursing.

Ise Sharp, the daughter of Geoffrey Sharp of Eris Exchange. Ise is entering her 1st year at Pomona College in Claremont, California studying Environmental Analysis.
